Durability comes first

An important part of SoliTek is its research and development department. Thanks to continuous innovative development work, SoliTek is a pioneer in the solar industry. The company not only supplies extremely durable products for energy generation, but also does everything possible to do so in the most environmentally friendly way. Sustainably generated energy is used to manufacture the products, resulting in annual savings of more than 400 tonnes of CO2.
The energy supply and cooling of the production facilities are provided by a mix of green energy: solar energy (150 kW on the building roof) and more than 1 MW of geothermal energy from 108 boreholes, each 148 metres deep.

Award: Cradle to Cradle Certified™

European solar module manufacturer SoliTek has also achieved great international success with the advanced double-glass modules of the SOLID series. At the beginning of 2020, the company joined the demanding Cradle to Cradle Certified™ programme.

The SoliTek solar module was awarded the globally recognised Cradle to Cradle Certified™ certification by the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute. The SoliTek solar modules were the first in the world to achieve the „silver“ level.

SoliTek provides a 30-year warranty on all solar modules in the SOLID Pro series and guarantees an output of 87 % after 30 years. Particular attention was paid to a long service life, high reliability and greater long-term savings in the development of the SOLID Pro series modules.

For comparison: Most solar modules have a depreciation period of approx. 25 years, making them profitable for less time than SoliTek modules with a service life of 30 years.
Modules from the SOLID Pro series are safe, stable, visually appealing, durable and have fire protection class A. Every single component plays an important role in the service life and performance of SoliTek modules.
